Our international client, a world leading organisation in the IT/Software market, is now hiring a Volume Licensing Manager Associate in Amsterdam.

The company’s Marketing and Operations HQ is looking for a talent and passionate individual who wants to gain a 360-degree experience in the IT industry. The Volume Licensing team leads transformation to modern, cloud-first licensing, in a way that protects Customer and Partner Satisfaction and grows revenue for the company and partners.

This Volume Licensing Manager Associate role focuses on supporting the Volume Licensing core activities in Change Management, Sales enablement, Marketing and Communication across many countries in Western Europe and in the medium-long term, his/her assignment will become more and more independent with full countries’ responsibilities.

 

Job Profile for Volume Licensing Manager Associate
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Change Management:

  • Understand and Lead the Volume Licensing strategy across a specific number of Western Europe countries delivering effective briefing presentations
  • Actively visit and engage with the company’s partners for: supporting Licensing transformation, build Go To Market plans, ensure Licensing readiness and commitment versus new models and targets
  • Engage with subsidiary leadership to support the company’s field seller’s transformation
  • Monitor and share local targets and provide progress updates with regular reviews
  • Manage structural escalations, sales blockers, customer and partner Licensing issues
  • Account for the business goals and targets of the Licensing scorecard

Sales Enablement:

  • Organise and orchestrate Licensing training across subsidiaries (webcasts, roadshows, & sales workshops) including on-boarding and “stay current” training for field and partners
  • Lead the country Partner Licensing Specialist community (P-LSS program)
  • Deliver Licensing on-boarding and “stay current” training for field and partners
  • Support partner sales and licensing teams via on site “floor days” events to drive licensing readiness and seller guidance
  • Assist BGs and Segments on Licensing questions, price discount promotions to drive revenue

Marketing and Communications:

  • Prepare, copy write and drive full cycle execution of Volume Licensing communications/ newsletters/posts in digital and social channels
  • Localise and land at country level Volume Licensing messaging and content for Field, Partner & Customers
  • Communicate promotions, licensing and pricing changes to field, partners and customers
  • Prepare Licensing Analytics and reporting
  • Business support for local Volume Licensing ad hoc projects together with country’s stakeholders
     

Candidate  Profile for Volume Licensing Manager Associate

  • Must be fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken. German is an advantage  
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. /B.A) required and/or experience in relevant fields e.g.: business, marketing, information technology, operations, finance. Master’s degree preferred
  • 1 to 6 years of relevant work experience
  • Desirable qualifications include formal training in project and process management, financial accounting, business strategy and operations and/or internal controls
  • Ability to work and build strong relationships with senior managers and executives
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, planning and organisational abilities
  • Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively
  • Highly analytical - ability to understand business metrics, customer and market trends
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing business environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot, PowerPivot) and all of Microsoft desktop programs and services
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Volume Licensing programs
