Our international client is a worldwide leader in electronic components distribution, to expand their presence and grown business in the EMEA region, they are currently recruiting an experienced sales Account Manager.

In this role, which is sales and target focused, you will be responsible for securing new business whilst maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers. The company offers growth opportunities such as: travel within Europe and eventually to offices in America & Asia, exploring new geographic regions and vertical markets, opportunity to train and develop new hires. The main areas you will be selling to are Czech Republic and Hungary.

Please note: Experience in electronic components distribution is required.

 

Job Profile for Account Manager EMEA
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Establish, maintain and grow business relationships with key regional accounts, including regular telephone and email contact, periodic customer visits, presentations and attendance at trade shows
  • Understand the company’s trading platform and commodities
  • Deliver sales goals against individual targets, targets kick in after 1 year and commission can be earned from the first day
  • Understand the suite of solutions so individual customer needs can be met
  • Identify, negotiate and close opportunities through deep understanding of the customer
  • Maintain the company’s market image by adhering to the quality and trade manifest
  • Remain up to date on industry trends, market activity and the competition
  • Responsibility for own open sales orders to ensure all parts are shipped within the monthly/quarterly period

 

Candidate Profile for Account Manager EMEA

  • Must be fluent in English, as well as either Czech or Hungarian, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Experience in electronic components distribution is highly preferred
  • Must have successful sales experiences and be a motivated self-starter
  • Proven track record in delivering consistent financial results 
  • Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 
  • Ability to influence at all levels within external customers
  • Customer-orientation and sympathy
  • Prospecting and presentation skills
  • Must have technical knowledge
  • Must be motivated, creative, hard-working and have enthusiastic  
  • Dealing with ambiguity 
  • Ability to work alone or in a group
  • Good knowledge of time management  and priority setting
