Our client is a US, NL, and Singapore based non-profit corporation devoted to the promotion and improvement of higher education in business administration and management. They are looking for a Tech and Web Support Coordinator to work in their growing office in Amsterdam. 

This person will be responsible for content editing for the website and employee intranet, providing support and training in the areas of SEO, basic HTML, and Sitecore usage.  Additionally, this position provides global help desk support for the organisation.

Please note: The role requires some shift work

 

Job Profile for Tech and Web Support Coordinator
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Act as a content management and SEO lead and resource for the company’s websites
  • Manage the company’s intranet site, including coordination with other to ensure information is up-to-date and easily accessible
  • Provide training and documentation for web and intranet content authors
  • Create and maintain documentation and associated training videos for IT systems in collaboration with others
  • Assist with project management for select web initiatives
  • Provide global helpdesk support to the company’s stakeholders as outlined in the Global IT Support Policy
  • Perform duties in accordance with the company’s mission and values
  • Remain current with best practices in job-related field(s) as appropriate
  • Attends staff meetings/in-service training as directed
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of organisational policies, procedures and systems
  • Ensure immediate reporting of injuries and/or unsafe conditions to Human Resources and completes any related documentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Candidate Profile for Tech and Web Support Coordinator

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Second language is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field obtained through an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in the field of higher education is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications applicable to position
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
  • Work well with internal and external individuals at all levels
  • Ability to work in a well-organised, proactive, prompt and efficient manner
  • Willingness to put forth extra effort for desired results
  • Exercises good judgement in decision making
  • Comfortable working in a culturally diverse, global environment
