Our international client, the leading provider of cold chain visibility solutions, is now hiring a highly skilled Program Manager to join their international team in their Headquarters in Nieuw-Vennep.

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the programs of potential and existing accounts in the EMEA region, develop detailed program plans and schedules, as well as providing management, leadership and guidance to global customers.

 

Job Profile for Program Manager:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Be responsible for the program management in the EMEA and other regions
  • Identify and apply approved analytics to transform customer data into information, then use cold chain expertise and technical writing skills to communicate issues and actions to the customer as required
  • Manage the content and delivery for customer reports or other communications according to defined department standards
  • Prepare and complete action plans
  • Identify trends in various data sets
  • Manage program roll-out with internal and external customers
  • Provide direction and support for program functions, considering the big picture and long-term goals and establish priorities when making decisions with implications for other programs
  • Drive change and use new or unique solutions in business situations
  • Demonstrate and impress on others the need to take personal responsibility for tasks and personal development
  • Create ownership and commitment to common goals through a collaborative effort
  • Regularly interface with a cross functional management team including: Reporting Services, Technical Services, Implementation, Sales and Project and Program managers. Maintain frequent contact with a wide range of customers and team members with varied backgrounds and perspectives
  • Improve and implement productivity standards, quality and customer-service standards
  • Enhance department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and ambiguous requests
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Travel for customer and internal meetings is required (10-20%)

 

Candidate Profile for Program Manager:  

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or industry-related field
  • Minimum 3 years of life science industry work experience
  • Process knowledge of CGMPs (Common Good Manufacturing Practices), FDAs (Food and Drug Administration), EU (European Union) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations as they apply to the supply chain. 21-CFR (Cost and Freight) part 11 knowledge is a plus
  • Project management skills with proven track record of leading strategies for end-to-end solutions
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to communicate complex principles and models in simple to understand terms
  • Experience with data and information management and building data flow and other process diagrams
  • Ability to balance competing demands and deal with ambiguity and an environment of change
  • Track record of leading cross organisational changes
  • Strong critical thinking in complex situations
  • Proven ability to prioritise project deliverables and history of quality assurance across projects
  • Experience working directly with customers in all levels
  • Good knowledge of process improvement and quality management methods
  • Solid understanding of statistical process control and process improvement methodologies
  • Ability to analyse large quantities of data and create detailed and actionable summaries based on sound statistical analysis and expert commentary
  • Good project management and communication skills
  • Organised and detail oriented
  • Creativity, problem-solving, strong analytical and communication skills are required
  • Excellent technical writing and computer skills
  • Adaptable in working with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint, etc.
