Our client is an established, fast expanding online business that has served the carrier industry throughout the UK for the last 16 years. They are the market leaders in their field and provide the industry with the premium cargo marketplace.

Due to business growth, they are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the team in Amsterdam.
 

Job Profile for Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, online chat & social media
  • Handle enquiries ranging from membership status, general product information & technical issues
  • Answer inbound customer calls
  • Handle customer escalations in a professional manner and transfer them to appropriate supervisor
  • Identify opportunities for site and process improvements and communicate them to supervisor/manager
  • Deal with customer complaints and queries
  • Customer relationship and usage development
  • Outbound customer calls
  • Liaise with marketing to ensure customers are fully up to date on the company’s platform
  • Support members in usage of the company’s web services
  • Setup and train new customers
  • Attend training on the company’s website
     

Candidate Profile for Customer Service Representative

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Fluency in German is an advantage
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience is required
  • Ability to identify selling opportunities and liaise with sales department
  • Advanced computer skills – internet, mobile and email
  • Enthusiastic problem solver
  • Confident, enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Good attention to detail
  • Initiative and decisiveness
  • A good understanding of how technology works
  • Goal-orientated, confident self-starter with excellent time management skills
