Are you a charismatic, positive and enthusiastic person with fantastic persuasive, negotiation and closing skills? We want you to be our new FX New Business Account Manager.

Our client is Europe’s leading commercial foreign exchange specialist offering corporate clients expertise in FX trading, credit facilities, proactive analysis and treasury advice. The company has seen consecutive years of double-digit growth derived from organic business development and its headcount has also grown 30% across the business year on year.

To create a bigger presence in The Netherlands, our client is currently looking to hire a new FX New Business Account Manager with an interest in financial markets to join their Amsterdam office.

The FX New Business Account Manager will be part of a very motivated and energetic environment and will have the opportunity to learn the industry and excel in this field.


Job Profile for Account Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Generate new business and create own client base
  • Produce freshly sourced leads for contact
  • Achieve relevant KPIs
  • Develop and maintain strong long-term client relationships with mostly director level buyers
  • Keep precise records and notes in the company’s database to maintain an accurate sales pipeline
  • Start each day by reading the financial press and keeping up to date with current affairs is essential to enable an understanding of the market in order to assist sales


Candidate Profile for Account Manager

  • Must be fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Previous telephone and face-to-face based sales skills with previous experience in a business-to business role
  • Interest in financial markets is required
  • Ability to learn new skills and response to ongoing training for a better understanding of the financial markets
  • Advanced sales abilities
  • Self-motivated and hunger for success for full potential achievement
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
