Our client is Europe’s leading commercial foreign exchange specialist offering corporate clients expertise in FX trading, credit facilities, proactive analysis and treasury advice.

To create a bigger presence in The Netherlands, our client is currently looking to hire a Sales Representative / Account Manager to join their recently established Amsterdam office.

The Sales Representative - Account Manager will be developing and maintaining client relationships mainly via the phone and integrate into a target-driven, young and motivated team of sales professionals.

 

Job Profile for Account Manager

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Generate new business and create own client base
  • Develop relationships and demonstrate relevant market advice to win new business and meet targets
  • Produce freshly sourced leads for contact
  • Achieve relevant KPIs
  • Read financial press daily
  • Keep accurate records and notes in the company’s database
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast
  • Engage with Director level buyers

 

Candidate Profile for Account Manager

  • Must be fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
  • Previous telephone sales experience within a business-to-business role
  • Experience in foreign exchange or financial sales a plus
  • Positive, enthusiastic and hungry individual with a solid track record of sales success and the drive to succeed
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Can-do attitude
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills
  • High attention to detail and good mathematical/analytical skills
