Our international client specialising in network and enterprise security is currently looking for a Marketing Executive to join their office in Amsterdam.

The company is on a mission to make breach prevention a reality and protect our digital way of life.  On their journey, they are recruiting a Marketing Executive/Manager (depending on experience) to help them protect the good and fight the bad. They are in search of an extraordinary individual to take charge and make a positive difference.

Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, you will be an essential part of the Field Marketing and Regional Field Sales organisation. You will work hand-in-hand with the local Marketing Manager and sales team leads to define a marketing and demand generation strategy to create the pipeline required to deliver success. You will develop focused Marketing programs, drive and insure customer success, engagement and loyalty in key accounts across Benelux, Israel and Russia/CIS.

Job Profile for Marketing Executive
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Partner with sales leaderships on the overall needs, strategy, focus, approach and regular expected results from marketing specific to your region
  • Provide data, insights and supporting engagement on strategic accounts and segments to support sales and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Execute accounts based marketing programs on behalf of sales, and demonstrate to representatives how they can execute program elements on their own
  • Execute and own a broad range of critical components of your marketing strategy focused on top accounts, industries and segments
  • Ensure that your partners are fully equipped to meet their goals by conceptualising and executing growth and demand generation programs
  • Advise and guide the company’s partners on how to grow their business by leveraging their marketing programs, initiatives and advanced analytics
  • Drive local, high touch, thought leadership and customer executive collaboration and community on the topic of cybersecurity
  • Advise the corporate and in theatre Demand Generation Hub as they develop, plan, execute, and measure supporting, highly impactful demand generation and marketing campaigns
  • Prevent random acts of marketing by creating annual and quarterly marketing plans focused on actionable and measureable initiatives that align to pipeline targets, quarterly budgets and overall business goals
  • Understand the difference between activity and action, focusing on the actions that will move the needle when it comes to generating pipeline


Candidate Profile for Marketing Executive

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in Dutch, Hebrew or Russian is an advantage
  • 5 years best-in-class marketing experience in an IT, high tech, B2B, marketing or sales environment, preferably with an understanding of security and its role in the future of technology
  • Comfortable with working with a combination of ICT-systems and quick to learn new tools/systems. Knowledge of marketing and sales tools like Adobe Marketing Cloud, eTouches and Salesforce are desirable
  • Experience in high-growth tech environments is a plus
  • Solid understanding of business management and operations including finance, revenue and pipeline principles
  • Ability to provide consultative input to senior sales leaders & business partners
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Proven ability to execute, day in and day out, at an incredibly high level against consistent results
  • “Do whatever it takes” attitude and a strong team player
