Job profile for HR Support Officer Relocation Assistant:

 

  • Assistance of newcomers (postholders) in various administrative tasks related to relocation such as organising utilities and communication connections.
  • Maintain contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (apply for residence permits).
  • Dealing with vehicle import and registration according to applicable rules for privileged status.
  • Coordinating approval for household removals.
  • Problem solving related to daily life of members of the College and staff members.
  • Administrative handling of requests for refund of VAT and/or excise on mineral oil and purchased goods.
  • Providing information and administrative support in the search for medical care, dependant education, housing, etc.
  • Pre-departure assistance, such as cancellation of rental agreement, closing utilities contracts, export documents for vehicles, etc.
  • Performing any other supporting tasks assigned by the supervisor.

 

 

Candidate Profile for HR Support Officer Relocation Assistant:

 

  • Fluent in both English and Dutch, (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
  • Service minded.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
  • Experience in relocation (expat) issues.
  • Ability to work with discretion and tact.
