Our client is one of the leading providers of logistics and supply chain solutions in the MENA region, with a global freight network of 600+ offices and solid logistics infrastructures backed by a team of committed and innovative experts in the field and supported by state-of-the-art IT systems and logistical infrastructure.
Currently, they are looking for an Accountant to join their expanding team in the Rozenburg, Amsterdam area.
Job Profile for Accountant
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, and accounting processes
Candidate Profile for Accountant
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields
- Work proficiency with financial reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures ( IFRS and Dutch Gaap)
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience with Exact software is highly preferred
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
