Our client is an international company that improves the way organisations, people, and technology work together by transforming, controlling and optimising IT landscapes, workplaces and applications. 

They offer support and resolutions to the most complex technology challenges. Now they are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in Sofia.

Job Profile for Business Analyst
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Analyse the business domain in variable fields including, but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Service delivery, HR, etc.
  • Help the internal stakeholders in their way towards the company’s initiatives through designing new business models, streamlining and re-engineering the existing business processes with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) 2.0 methodology
  • Facilitate process workflows modelling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly define end-to-end use cases
  • Help in guiding the business in improving processes, products, and services
  • Prepare and facilitate process redesign and/or functional workshops with internal stakeholders and key-users
  • Document business requirements and translate them into functional and system specifications. Follow up and evaluate their implementations
  • Assess the business model and its integration with technology
  • Participate in Scrum planning sessions, Scrum meetings and brainstorm sessions
  • Support the prioritisation of user stories to ensure the implementation process is aligned with the objectives
  • Elaborate acceptance criteria for user stories
  • Prepare Fit/Gap analysis, identify and evaluate risks and issues
  • Bring inconsistencies and potential issues to the attention of the management
  • Identify and motivate the need for add-ons and other software solutions
  • Ensure that the proposed solution is robust and in line with future growth of the company
  • Assist and support the Development Team responsible for the design of required interfaces and enhancements
  • Support the Project Team in the creation of a Test Plan for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing scenarios
  • Evaluate test results
  • Create and generate detailed project documentation, regarding project objectives and deliverables. Store/save this project documentation on Confluence according to the platform’s teams guidelines
  • Collaborate with the implementation and Project Management Team in order to ensure quality and on-time delivery of the projects
  • Provide any assistance to the business and/or project team in the other project and platforms tracks where needed
  • Participate in new systems/tools/functionality implementations and integrations
  • Deliver demos of software solutions to the business and internal key-user
  • Develop and deliver training materials, including user manuals, “how-to” documents, one-pagers, etc. Store/save these on Confluence according to the platform’s teams guidelines
  • Support and deliver Lean trainings and materials and store/save these materials on Confluence according to the platform’s teams guidelines
  • Make effective use of collaboration and project follow-up tooling (JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart), ensuring good project follow-up

 Candidate Profile for Business Analyst

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as Business Analyst
  • Experience in a similar service delivery environment/similar business is advantageous
  • Possess knowledge of BPMN 2.0 methodology or similar process models 
  • ITIL knowledge is required
  • Lean methodology is required
  • Delicate person with diplomatic skills
  • High emotional intelligence 
  • Excellent communication skills
