Our international client, a world-leading organisation in the IT/Software market, is now hiring a Business Manager to CEE Corporate Learning Officer to join their team in Schiphol.

The purpose of the role is to support the Central Eastern Europe (CEE) Corporate Learning Office (ALL) in all its tasks and functions to run and further develop the Area Learning & Skilling charter and the business tasks and responsibilities anchored there-in.

Job Profile for Business Manager to CEE Corporate Learning Officer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Leading the CEE ALL Office:

  • Meet customers, partners, and lead internal rhythm to ensure smooth running of the CEE skilling business:
    • Budget management, Operations, Various Corp and Area Business reviews
    • Coordination on behalf of ALL the Learning and Skill council Rhythm of Business (ROB), action items and progress
    • Drive consistency, quality and insight of relevant programs and initiatives across World Wide Learning (WWL) and CEE and be diligent on following up actions
    • Prepare bi-weekly report targeting WWL, Education (EDU), CMO, One Commercial Partner (OCP), Services, Philanthropy/Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA), Segments, Business Groups (BGs), and Communications/Public Relations: use existing reports to build ad-hoc reporting including figures, comments; engage and build relationship and rapport
    • Manage CEE WWL Team’s meetings, agenda, action items, all ROB

Delivering the right information at the right time through effective communication:

  • Define and deliver a winning communications strategy
  • Lead the communications plan, driving engaging content across a range of formats, from preparing the Marketing and Operations (M&O) lead to deliver speeches to thousands of customers and partners, to running exclusive roundtables for the C-suite and everything in-between
  • Passionate communicator with the ability to create compelling original content and bring stories to life:
    • Support Area Learning Lead in defining context and key messages for internal and external communication in close alignment with Communication Team and Area Learning Team (Public speeches and contributions; Presentations; Newsletters; Yammer Posts; Blog Post; Video Clips; etc.)
    • Own the development of the Skilling all up communication plan (with support of the ALL), incl. monthly update newsletter, GLT/Segment LT updates, comms to v-team members, creation of Win Wires and Success Stories
    • Prepare internal/external presentations, as well as slides for various business reviews

Strategic Business Initiatives program management:

  • Become point of contact for area skill plan, planning and execution to ensure program landing and scale
  • Work with teams across different units to identify opportunities, gaps and overlap whereby the company can streamline and accelerate changes and scale for growth
  • Project Lead for the Skills Initiative (Skilling for the Future) incl. American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) pillar 3 execution support

Candidate Profile for Business Manager to CEE Corporate Learning Officer

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Deep expertise in working with Excel, Power BI & PowerPoint
  • Project Management skills and ability to:
    • Proactively identify implications of related internal and external business conditions to risks and dependencies
    • Facilitate effective decision-making across organisations, product lines, or portfolios
    • Evaluate project results against related examples and incorporate best practices and key learnings for future improvements
  • Strategic Insight skills and ability to:
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of what is critical to the business in making appropriate decisions that directly affect the product lines or portfolios, solutions, or services
    • Anticipate new trends in the industry by using deep understanding of business and industry trends and competitor strategies
    • Balance the need for more information with business, customer/client, and strategy considerations in order to make appropriate decisions that directly affect the product lines or portfolios, solutions, or services
  • Cross Group Collaboration skills:
    • Able to build a collaborative environment and processes that allow information sharing, understanding between different parties (their skills, their unique advantages to the organisation), and groups to come together and be better than they were apart. Ensures all groups are delivering desired results
  • Confidence:
    • To push yourself and the organisation to take on challenges; self-initiative having the desire for new responsibilities; Challenge others respectfully when you disagree with them, stating your view clearly and confidently
    • Excellent communication and storytelling skills: written and verbal
