Our international client, one of the world’s foremost managing consulting firms, is now looking for a Client Development Analyst (Boards & CEO Practice) to join their team in Amsterdam. 

As a Client Development (CD) Analyst, you will join the client development function to provide ‘hands-on’ business development and content creation support to the Practice and its consultants in  the region. You will work closely with the consulting teams and other cross-functional teams to pursue various business opportunities.

Job Profile for Client Development Analyst (Boards & CEO Practice)
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop high-quality presentations and documents
  • Conduct market research and synthesising information into meaningful insights for various client opportunities
  • Assist with short, mid-and long-term client development projects, including data management and analysis
  • Respond to consultant and CD team requests for business development materials at all stages of prospecting – from new leads to competitive presentations
  • Participate in and contribute as needed to internal business development calls and client meetings as guided by the Client Development Manager
  • Provide critical sales development support, including logging and managing action items and recommendations, and following through on actions as directed
  • Help maintain tools and systems to assist in centralising and organising business development materials, including standardised and/or tailored presentations, developing sample reports and drafting proposal letters
  • Provide administrative and communication support, including proofreading, formatting and content revising for internal and external reporting and communications
  • Build knowledge of the key firm’s products and providing overall leadership advice
  • Perform other client development support-related activities as required
  • Manage and review weekly new bookings and pipeline

Candidate Profile for Client Development Analyst (Boards & CEO Practice)

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • An Undergraduate degree is mandatory
  • 1-2 years of relevant internship or full-time experience, ideally at a professional services or consulting firm. Knowledge of (or a strong interest in) leadership and talent consulting is a bonus.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programmes
  • Experience of contributing to major research efforts that include analysis of business and industry trends
  • Time and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
  • Ownership and accountability
