To accomplish their goals and serve their clients better, they are looking for a Commercial Lead who is eager to learn and operate within a thriving business unit to join their team in Utrecht.

The Commercial Lead reports to a Commercial Leader or Business Director.

Job Profile for Commercial Lead
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Work with prospects and customers, understand their processes and requirements, offer tailored solutions, and ensure customer success across the product lines
  • Gain exposure to management of a sales funnel, sales forecasts, and product trends
  • Use technology to capture market insights, understand the supply chain, market a product line, and work with a tight-knit team to achieve company and individual goals
  • Expand revenue within assigned customer segment through multi-faceted engagements, including face to face, phone, and web-based platforms (email, IM, etc.)
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships through effective account management
  • Direct customer order forecasts to ensure assigned customer segment meets projections
  • Optimise service levels to ensure a strong customer experience
  • Own the entire orders cycle, including processing customer orders, collecting payments, and coordinating order logistics
  • Utilise CRM platform to capture customer-related data and daily activities

Candidate Profile for Commercial Lead

  • Must be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or STEM discipline
  • 0-3 years of work experience depending on need, prior role and responsibilities. 2-5 years of experience would be preferred
  • Professional experience selling in a B2B environment is advantageous
  • Experience in customer management and use of a CRM software
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong adaptability, creativity, and drive to succeed
  • Strong team player, motivated and extremely customer-centric
  • Solid negotiation skills, verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Capable to maintain high work quality in a remote office environment
  • Willing to travel (up to 25%)
