Description

Our client is the world’s leading Internet entertainment service, with 195 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, documentaries and feature films in various genres and languages.

Currently, they are looking for a Corporate Events Coordinator to join their fast-growing team in Amsterdam.  

The Corporate Events Team is focused on producing unique and memorable experiences for employees, ensuring everyone feels informed, connected and has a sense of belonging. The role will involve various event types, from office-wide celebrations and recruiting events to executive offsites, and will report directly to the Corporate Events Manager EMEA.

Job Profile for Corporate Events Coordinator
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks (e.g. team event tracker, event folder organisation, RFPs, rooming and transportation lists, banquet event orders, etc.)
  • Coordinate event logistics, including communication, registration, attendee tracking, name badges, event and meeting calendaring, and follow-up on relevant events
  • Manage participant experience (queries, advice and onsite support)
  • Provide general support for ad-hoc events
  • Manage team inbox and field emails for the broader team
  • Support with inventory management and maintenance for the events team
  • Collaborate with external vendors and cross-functional partners in teams like Travel, Finance and Workplace Management

Candidate Profile for Corporate Events Coordinator

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in German will be considered a plus
  • 2-5 years of versatile event experience with a preference for attendee communication, data management and ease of collaboration with hotels, venues and travel agencies
  • Google Suite knowledge
  • Able to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity and appetite for innovation and ways to improve work
  • A proactive and positive thinker and a constant contributor to the team
  • Willingness to travel when needed (the role will involve visits to our EMEA office locations)
  • Passionate about unique and unforgettable experiences

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail at all times
  • Flexible and nimble
