Our international client is a world-leading organisation in the IT/Software market that has the goal to empower every person and organisation on the planet to achieve more.

We are currently looking for a Customer Lifecycle Manager to join their team in Schiphol.

The Customer Lifecycle Manager (CLM) is an Inside Sales Operations professional who supports the execution of the company’s Enterprise Volume Licensing (VL) business. 

Job Profile for Customer Lifecycle Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Translate sales opportunities to an appropriate license/contract proposal
  • Interact with both the account teams and the Licensing Sales Specialists
  • Keep the license knowledge up to date
  • Monitor the contract pipeline and the set quality requirements
  • Monitor the processing of the contracts by the Operations Center in Ireland
  • Enable the Enterprise business for streamlined agreement closing, execution, and booking
  • Validate the completeness and quality of direct VL Agreements. Sign contracts on behalf of the organisation and submit to the Regional Operations Centre for processing and invoice
  • Enable customer agreement and revenue processing throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Support the Account Managers and Licensing Sales Specialists in the negotiation process with the customer
  • Manage the fiscal close process with the Regional Operations centre in relation to VL
  • Liaise with the Licensing Sales Specialist and Operations Centres for any issues and delays on contract and order processing to resolve issues
  • Triage queries and issues on VL from Subsidiary Sales and Operations teams
  • Liaise with Finance and other teams, ensuring proper controls and compliance are in place addressing issues related to the client’s contracts
  • Identify and share learnings for improvements
  • Solve and define opportunities for improvement in VL post-sales experience for customers, partners, field sales teams, and share to drive improvements
  • Be the point of contact for Finance, Credit and Collections, Operations, and other teams for VL queries and issues


Split of the duties

  • 50% Preparing and supervising contracts for further processing:
    • 20% Supervise Business Operations
    • 30% Compiling contract documents
  • 30% Editing and further development of contracts based on feedback
  • 20% Interaction with LS over process

Candidate Profile for Customer Lifecycle Manager

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, Commercial Sales
  • Knowledge of sales processes and methodologies training as per Industry Standard
  • Experience in reporting using Excel and/or Business Intelligence Applications
  • Positive attitude, collaborative, and with a passion for working as part of a team
  • Able to solve problems, and a creative thinker
  • Proven ability to work with deadlines, and prioritise
  • Able to build customer and partner relationships
  • Experience in contracting and licensing is preferred but not required
  • Possess Project Management certification: Six Sigma, PRINCE is not a must but an advantage
  • Proven understanding of VL Enterprise Agreements and execution processes is an advantage
