Our client provides an exclusive service in the development, logistics and marketing of software and other intellectual property for a global oilfield service company. They are looking for an System Support Specialist to join their team in The Hague.

Please note that this role involves 25% billing (data-driven and semi-automated) and 75% IT and systems.

Job Profile for System Support Specialist
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Data Analysis from various systems is required for operational reporting
  • Invoice using semi-automated processes
  • Assists with resolving invoicing issues with customers worldwide
  • Report from various systems as required for operational purposes
  • Monitor interfaces between systems
  • Relevant procedural updates required to ensure a smooth operational workflow
  • Billing application testing, documenting and reporting
  • Maintain Master Data System
  • Prepare data and support processes for bulk orders and fixes
  • Technical maintenance of local support websites
  • Liaise between users and developers

Candidate Profile for System Support Specialist

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • HBO or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a relevant field
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Basic database query and reporting skills in SQL are a must
  • Visual Studio knowledge and ERP system understanding is also a must
  • Basic financial understanding, experience with software user testing and error reporting are required
  • Initiative and problem solving
  • Good analytical skills
  • Accurate, flexible, service orientated, knowledge sharing, assumes responsibility and a hands-on mentality
  • Works well in an international environment and is a team player
