Job Profile for Director of EU Operations
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business to ensure a smooth operating rhythm
  • Supervise staff from different departments, including accounting, human resources, warehousing, and production
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organisational objectives and apply improvements (utilizing Six Sigma/Lean principles)
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
  • Plan, monitor, and analyse key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Devise strategies to ensure the growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs
  • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations

Candidate Profile Director of EU Operations

  • Must be fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
  • Must have 6-8 years of proven experience in operations management
  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities are a must
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
  • In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.) are required
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
  • Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity
  • Masterful organisational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)
  • Experience in inventory management, procurement, and/or manufacturing a plus
