Our client, a world leader in integrated energy and chemicals, is looking for an HR Advisor to join their dynamic, multicultural and multilingual organisation in The Hague.

Job Profile for HR Advisor
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Partner with different managers to meet people’s needs in the organisation through available HR programs and policies; Forecast proactively and deliver against people’s lifecycle
  • Work with the managers to coordinate/conduct (annual) HR programs and activities including, performance management, promotions, development, and support on talent and succession planning and engagement
  • Support annual business planning in people-related topics
  • Coach and advise managers on people-related topics and provide case management for employee cases
  • Support workforce planning and support people’s needs through (internal) recruitment activities, acting and development assignments, individual development plans and career coaching
  • Identify trends, commission analysis and (co-)develop solutions to address people’s needs
  • Support people services as needed about complex situations and act as second-line contact for questions from employees and managers on HR policies and processes
  • Participate in people services activities when required
  • Collaborate with People Services and Organisation Development to develop HR solutions that meet business needs

Candidate Profile for HR Advisor

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French and/or Italian is beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Dutch labour law is required 
  • Familiarity with UK, French, Italian and/or Malaysian labour law is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Exhibit excellent standards of professional conduct and discretion and are detailed oriented, culturally sensitive, flexible and driven
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Show passion for creating exceptional employee experiences
  • Able to be a role model in employee experience and wellbeing
