Our client, a start-up tech company specialising in carrier cargo is looking for an Inside Sales Representative.
In the current market, trucking companies (carriers) are struggling with growing demand due to the lack of drivers and increased road congestion. Fuel rates are also going up, which means that all transport rates are skyrocketing. These are serious issues that affects the market. The solution that our client offers is a more efficient use of the existing assets (trucks) of larger trucking companies.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be generating new leads and activating existing customers in order to drive business.
Job Profile for Inside Sales Representative
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Locate new customers and develop your own sales funnel and connect them to the client’s platform.
- Understand evolving customer needs and requirements
- Develop accounts and work closely with the sales and operations teams to help define the best possible sales tactics
- Prospect new customer accounts and understand their logistics needs, price requirements and what benefits the clients can offer them
- Pipeline management, forecasting and Account Planning in CRM
- Manage the client’s leads database
- Manage the client’s CRM
Candidate Profile for Inside Sales Representative
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Have HBO education level
- The focus to go the extra mile to turn a lead into a deal
- You are available 2-3 days per week for 8 hours per day
- You love Telesales
- Targets motivate you to get your goals
- Communication on a professional level is your second nature
- Talking to customers and convincing them of your product drives you
