Sales Engineer – English

Our client, a world leader in process heating systems, is currently experiencing rapid growth due to global expansion. They are looking for a Sales Engineer who will be responsible for Engineered Products activities related to triaging and prioritising incoming Request for Quotations (RFQ’s), conceptualisation, sizing, costing, and proposal generation of industrial process heating and related equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a focus in mechanical engineering, process engineering, physics, and is experienced in engineered heat transfer equipment or electrical engineered systems.

Job Profile for Sales Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

• Review the specifications and documents from RFQ’s of engineered systems involving electric heating, and process systems
• Develop conceptual design of engineered products relating to RFQ’s
• Develop cost estimates and prepare proposals based upon conceptual design of engineered product or applications relating to RFQ’s
• Evaluate processes and designs for proposed modifications, improvements, and alternate solutions as required by clients or internal departments
• Meet clients for technical clarifications and/or presentations pertaining to RFQ’s, current projects or product offerings
• Interface with other departments within the organisation such as Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to conceptualise designs and establish realistic delivery expectations when preparing proposals

Candidate Profile for Sales Engineer

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering/Physics/Aerospace engineering/Process engineering, or relevant
• 2+ years of experience in industrial process industry is preferred
• Knowledge in:
  • ASME/EN13445
  • IEC, and ATEX
  • HTRI, HTFS, Aspen
• Experience in the following product groups is nice to have: heat exchangers, reactors, air cooled coolers, gas fired heaters, or industrial electrical products, instrumentation, and controls
• Able to work both individually and in a team effectively
• Able to plan, prioritise, and organise work
• Working experience with Excel, and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
