Our client is one of the top 500 privately listed companies. They reduce the carbon footprint, drive sustainability and create savings by offering everything from PV Panels, Inverters and Solar Storage options to racking, components and all electrical needs. 

The company is currently looking for a Sales Manager to join their team in Germany. The ideal candidate is a leader who understands the importance of tracking sales goals, setting and managing individual sales targets per Key Account Management (KAM) and facilitating growth in their sales role.

Job Profile for Sales Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Achieve planned sales targets, using e.g. forecasting tools
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team and individual team members
  • Track sales goals and report on results, as well as oversee the activities and performance of the sales team
  • Coordinate lead generation across all types of channels with the Sales and Marketing department
  • Develop the sales team by motivating, counselling, product knowledge education and sales techniques
  • Promote the organisation and the product portfolio
  • Have a thorough understanding of the customers and their relationship with the products
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the sales team members and be a partner to the soundboard when there is a sales challenge
  • Analyse the market/customer data and information from the team
  • Make a solid forecast in a demanding market, based on all the available intel (e.g. product sales)

Candidate Profile for Sales Manager

  • Must be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Netsuite
  • Experience in a similar Sales role in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Technology savvy, know-how of Sales/ERP systems
  • Attention to detail, structured and organised, a problem solver
  • Able to prioritise their own workload
  • A desire to continuously improve processes to provide customer services
