Our client is one of the top 500 privately listed companies. They reduce the carbon footprint, drive sustainability and create savings by offering everything from PV Panels, Inverters and Solar Storage options to racking, components and all electrical needs.
The company is currently looking for a Sales Team Lead to join their team in France. The ideal candidate is a leader who understands the importance of tracking sales goals, setting and managing individual sales targets per Key Account Managers (KAM) and facilitating growth in their sales role.
Job Profile for Sales Team Lead
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Provide input for monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts in-line with the annual targets
- Implement efficient and effective sales strategies and indorse customer-centric activities for specific market segments to elevate and maintain sales revenue to meet overall assigned targets
- Provide sales management, and incentive planning for the sales team
- Ensure most effective hiring, orientation, training, development, and retention of the sales force
- Ensure that sales force receives adequate training and induction to perform in accordance with job function and elevate productivity
- Act as a sales coach and provide mentorship to support sales force to increase sales productivity and performance
- Manage sales to reduce staff turn-over and be responsible for their own customer portfolio
- Provide sales force with KPI setting, organisational skills, account management strategies, and customer hunting skills along with administrative responsibilities to establish desired customer satisfaction and engagement
- Establish cohesive business relationships with customers to maintain desired diversification between longtail market trend and volume-based customers
- Keep up to date with market trends and have an abrupt eye on competitor activities to remain ahead of the competitor curve
- Perform and carry out ad hoc job-related duties and responsibilities as an imminent part of attaining over sales objectives
Candidate Profile for Sales Team Lead
- Must be fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive sales experience
- Strong drive to deliver a high level of customer service
- Solid IT skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Respectable people management, team engagement and time-management skills
- Agile, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- High written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to travel
