Our client, a highly respected and extremely prestigious global leader in the integrated energy and chemical industry, is looking for a SAP Procurement (Ariba) Specialist to join their dynamic, multicultural and multilingual organisation in The Hague.

Job Profile for SAP Procurement (Ariba) Specialist
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Contribute to annual business and operating plan development, accountabilities, and audit reports
  • Offer IT support to all company departments and divisions
  • Design, develop, implement, and manage information technology including hardware, software and networks
  • Implement and enhance short and long-term IT solutions that meet the needs of the organisation
  • Test and evaluate IT systems
  • Install, configure, administer, upgrade, and maintain security for IT hardware, software and network infrastructure
  • Coordinate IT projects and reporting
  • Develop solutions for operational problems and install, maintain, and enhance (application) systems to support department operations
  • Monitor security audit and intrusion detection system logs for system and network anomalies and provide first level analysis
  • Respond to suspicious or malicious events detected through collection or reported by Help Desk or users
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or Senior Team member

Candidate Profile for SAP Procurement (Ariba) Specialist

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience as an IT Consultant or comparable role, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Preferably experience with systems analysis, systems engineering or equivalent
  • Competent with SAP (e.g. MM, QM, Fl, BW, HR), GuiXT, Winshuttle, and SharePoint
  • Experience with network, host, data and/or application security in multiple operating system environments
  • Advanced knowledge of general security methodologies, concepts, and terminologies
  • Experience on a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) or Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Experience with Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Vulnerability Assessment tools and other security tools found in large network environments, along with experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
  • Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as network and host assessment/scanning tools, network and host based intrusion detection systems, and other security software packages
