For their team in Schiphol, they are looking to hire an SMB Sales Azure Specialist.

As the SMB Seller, you will be the Azure business owner of our client’s SMB and/or Scale business and the customer advocate. To be successful, you must have the motivation to understand customers, their needs, challenges, and ambitions. You will lead several opportunities that are in the second half of the sales phase, working with CTOs, CFOs, CEOs as well as procurement teams, to understand the customer needs and define the right proposal for them, that will set them up for successful digital transformation.

Job Profile for SMB Sales Azure Specialist
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Support the realization of complex deals, represent significant market share, and/or penetrate competitor’s market share by working directly with and through local partners
  • Ensure continuity in the delivery of customer or partner programs and maintain an awareness of customer satisfaction and changes in business practices that may impact customer-partner engagement and suggest an amendment to improve satisfaction
  • Develop sales and business strategy options and successfully execute complex opportunities
  • Deal with customer annual statements, P&L principles and growth plans
  • Overcome and work around problems that are inevitable in fast-growing businesses
  • Deliver business impact with intentional planning, drive clarity to the team with consistent coaching rhythms, remove blockers and ensure business budget goals are met
  • Customer management, stakeholder management
  • Virtual collaboration across many teams

Candidate Profile for SMB Sales Azure Specialist

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant Sales or Marketing experience with Information Technology products and/or services
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across large virtual teams
  • 2+ years of experience in selling business-to-business IT solutions and meeting revenue targets
  • Sales experience and capability (commercial skills)
  • Experience in overseeing all parts of the deal process (from start to finish)
  • Financial understanding of deal shaping
