Our client is a high brand Fashion store that's already a huge household name in Spain. Founded in Spain a decade ago, it focuses on wardrobing the modern individual from top to toe in its trademark classics-with-a-twist style. Head to the flagship to browse the comprehensive collection, featuring everything from ready-to-wear to bespoke tailoring, via sportswear, eyewear, shoes, accessories and collaborations.

They are looking for a Store Manager or a strong Assistant Manager who is ready for the next step to take the lead within their 2 stores in the Netherlands.

 

Job Profile for Store Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee and manage store staff, including recognising new training opportunities, providing feedback, enhancing sales abilities, and developing staff members
  • Oversee the store position and communicate store goals clearly with them
  • Develop sales plans of action together with the area manager
  • Communicate store goals, brand awareness, and company messages to team members while promoting product knowledge
  • Assess team member performance and deliver performance reviews
  • Make changes to team member status and job duties. Recruit, hire, and train new store staff
  • Operational responsibilities: deliveries, stock takes and transfer to the DC at the end of the season
  • Keep costs minimal while remaining accountable to profits
  • Create a customer-service focused environment where the best possible customer experience is top priority
  • Ensure that employee training and work habits centre on customer service
  • Report sales, visual presentations, team member development, and store performance figures to area manager
  • Create employee schedules and manage hourly employee time recording and payroll
  • Ensure that visual marketing and merchandising of store meets established brand standards
  • Help and propose ideas to improve the development of the brand in the country

Candidate Profile for Store Manager

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, other languages are a plus
  • Must have experience in Dutch fashion and a history of hitting your sales targets
  • Be commercial minded
  • Have previous management experience
  • Fantastic customer service skills
  • Previous employee training experience is a must
  • Have sales experience
  • Goal-oriented
  • Have visual merchandising skills
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be self-motivated
  • Friendly, enthusiastic
  • Have an ability to work in a rapidly changing and stressful environment
  • Hiring and staffing experience is a must
  • Previous retail experience is desirable
