Our esteemed client is a rapidly growing global leader in industrial construction machinery with a strong presence across Europe and Asia. The company is known for its innovative solutions, high-quality products, and dedication to sustainability in the industry.
Currently, they are looking for a Field Service Technician/Cranes to join their expanding team in Lelystad.
Job Profile for Field Service Technician/Cranes
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide technical and troubleshooting Product support and guidance to the customer or the customer’s Product Support staff
- Solve technical issues on the range to the company’s products via own technical knowledge and the supervisor’s help
- Respond to phone and e-mail requests for technical information or technical assistance from the company’s customers
- Investigate the root cause of failure and assist with troubleshooting for technical resolutions
- Provide regular communications to keep the customer or customer’s Product Support staff up to date on the latest product support issues
- Participate in customer calls, work site visits to countries, and regional tours to clarify product issues and customer concerns
- Support warranty claims and field marketing campaigns
- Provide service training to the customers
- Commission new machines
- Inspect new and older machines
- Advise customers on maintenance and parts replacement
- Create technical documentation to diagnose known issues to share knowledge across the product support teams of the company
Candidate Profile for Field Service Technician/Cranes
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the French language is a plus
- Industrial High School graduate
- Experience in Construction Equipment product support is preferred, but graduates with relevant technical knowledge are also welcome to apply
- Hydraulic Technical knowledge, Electric, and Diesel Engine knowledge is preferred
- Team players and a hands-on mentality
- Ability to work towards root cause analysis on technical issues and solve conflicts, frequent travel
- Effectively communicate with customers, dealers, various internal departments, and colleagues at all levels
- Excellent computer skills
