Description
Our client is an international company, supplying essential industrial gases and related equipment to various sectors, focusing on innovation and sustainability.
They are now looking for an experienced Site Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector to join their team in Rotterdam.
The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, participate in project meetings and provide input on quality issues.
Job Profile for Site E&I Inspector
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Inspect Electrical and Instrumentation installations per ITP/ITR requirements
- Review contractor ITPs, procedures, and documents
- Sign off on ITRs, working on AP Completions software
- Compile, manage and sign off test packs
- Assist site quality with relevant reporting to Project/Management
- Participate in site meetings (internal and contractor)
- Adhere at all times to AP EH&S requirements and any site policy and restrictions
- Manage and issue punch lists, non-conformances, and drive corrective actions
- Foresee impediments, bring them to the notice of site management and proactively suggest solutions
- Create daily/weekly site reports
- Accompany walk-downs of site systems
- Manage punch-list and NCR resolution with site contractors
- Assist commissioning teams wherever required for the closure of punch-points
- Witness Site Acceptance Test
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
Candidate Profile for Site E&I Inspector
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Primary education with a degree in Electrical or instrumentation background
- Training and certifications to the relevant level of ATEX
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, site maps, and blueprints
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
- Experience in working in the oil and gas-related industry on Onshore Plants
- Proven work experience as a Quality Control Inspector at sites
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites
- Ability to refer, interpret and advise implementation of E&I equipment supplier’s instructions, Manuals
