Our esteemed client, a leading provider of premium height access solutions with a strong footprint across multiple markets, is recognised for its extensive product range, uncompromising quality, and commitment to safety and innovation. From everyday ladders to specialised scaffold towers, they deliver equipment that meets the highest standards and supports customers in every sector.

Currently, they are looking for a Senior Warehouse Operative to join their new warehouse in Heerlen.

Job Profile for Senior Warehouse Operative
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee and participate in the loading, unloading, and movement of goods
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock control
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
  • Support junior staff and train new staff
  • Plan and prioritise daily tasks and deliveries to meet operational deadlines
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication
  • Track and report on KPIs such as order accuracy, dispatch timeframes, stock discrepancies, returns and more

Candidate Profile for Senior Warehouse Operative

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably ones that involve large and heavy items
  • Previous experience operating a forklift is a must. Counterbalance or Reach is a plus
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy goods
  • Experience dealing with ERP systems is a plus
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to be flexible on working hours when required, including weekend work in the future as business needs evolve
