Our client is a major global player in the Internet and Technology sector. Renowned for their innovative digital solutions, they are market leaders in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies. Their cutting-edge products are increasingly shaping how people live, work, and interact in everyday life.

We are looking for a talented Chemist to join their expanding team in Eindhoven and to help develop and improve UV-curable inks.

You will work on creating new ink formulas, solving technical problems, and working
with other teams to bring products from the lab to real-world use.

Job Profile for Chemist
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Develop and test UV-curable ink formulas for optical products
• Improve existing products and create new ones through research and testing
• Solve technical problems with materials and processes
• Work with other teams (engineering, sourcing, safety, etc.) to launch new products
• Support customers and team members with technical questions
• Help manage relationships with suppliers and ensure products meet regulations

Candidate Profile for Chemist

• Must be fluent in English written and spoken
• PhD or Master’s degree or extensive relevant industrial experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience working with ink formulation and UV-curable
  materials; Knowledge of ingredients used in ink (like photoinitiators, monomers,
  dyes, etc.) and how they affect the final product is required
• Experience with chemical analysis and testing methods is a must
• Experience with clear resins (like those used in lenses or displays) and fast-curing systems (like LED UV) is a plus
• Understanding of color science is an advantage
• Familiarity with industry regulations and product approval processes
• Experience with AI/ML for material discovery is a plus
• Background in inkjet printing, coatings, or 3D printing is a plus
• Able to communicate clearly in reports and presentations
