Procurement Manager/ Facilities Management – Spanish & English

Description

This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up rather than inherit an existing supplier base. You’ll take ownership of the Facilities Management sourcing programme for a 400-site portfolio across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Chile, establishing the baseline, developing the sourcing strategy and leading procurement events from start to finish.

Working as part of a small, senior team, you’ll have real autonomy, clear commercial objectives and direct ownership of delivering measurable savings. The role combines strategic procurement with hands-on execution, requiring close collaboration with regional stakeholders while using AI tools as part of your day-to-day workflow to improve analysis, documentation and delivery.

The company is currently preparing for its first market launch and is looking for a Procurement Manager/ Facilities Management to play a hands-on contract role for someone strong in FM procurement, supplier data, stakeholder coordination and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Job Profile for Procurement Manager/ Facilities Management
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Own the sourcing strategy for hard and soft FM services across the five markets
• Implement baseline LATAM FM services by site, service type and value
• Lead sourcing events end-to-end for cleaning, pest control, fire safety, HVAC, electrical and building repairs
• Deliver US$500k of savings by 31 December 2026 and further targets in 2027
• Prepare a strategic sourcing plan for FM services
• Report progress weekly against savings and milestones
• Identify sourcing risks, decisions and dependencies and drive them to resolution

Candidate Profile for Procurement Manager/ Facilities Management

• Must be fluent in Spanish & English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage
• Strong with supplier, site, service and spend data, and strong in Excel
• Stakeholder coordination across procurement, operations, finance and regional leadership
• FM procurement and supplier management experience in LATAM
• Confident running procurement analysis and drafting through AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) as part of daily work
• Reporting, documentation and progress-tracking discipline
• Able to work independently as a contractor and deliver against agreed milestones
• Comfortable working remotely with international stakeholders
