Our esteemed client is a rapidly growing global leader in industrial construction machinery with a strong presence across Europe and Asia. The company is known for its innovative solutions, high-quality products, and dedication to sustainability in the industry. 

Currently, they are looking for a Product Specialist to join their expanding team in Lelystad.

Job Profile for Product Specialist
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Serve as the primary contact for product-related inquiries from internal departments, channel partners, and occasionally end-users
  • Expand continuously expertise on the company’s extensive machine portfolio, along with insights into competing solutions and market demands across Europe
  • Provide the product marketing team with relevant technical information to support the creation of datasheets, brochures, feature comparisons, and online materials
  • Perform in-depth analyses of the market and competitors, drawing on specifications, case studies, and pricing trends
  • Turn customer inquiries into actionable technical advice and work closely with sales and marketing to address these needs effectively
  • Join in product demos, dealer training programmes, and international trade exhibitions in partnership with colleagues from sales, branding, and product marketing
  • Liaise regularly with engineering, development, and commercial teams to ensure smooth collaboration and information flow

Candidate Profile for Product Specialist

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. German, French or Italian fluency would be considered a plus
  • MBO or HBO qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Industrial Engineering (or a closely related field)
  • Previous experience in a technical, customer-facing or commercial support role is a must
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to various audiences
  • Proactive, structured, and capable of independently developing responsibilities within a diverse, international environment
  • Genuine interest in machinery and its technical components
