Description

Our client is a worldwide segment leader in the field of sustainability and industrial machinery. Operating globally, they work with multiple major Fortune 100 Businesses. 

We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team in Oborniki, Poland.

Job Profile for Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Complete 3D construction and 2D documentation in CAD software for projects
  • Prepare layouts for the sales team
  • Prepare bill of materials in an ERP System – Epicor
  • Maintain existing products’ bill of materials and 2D documentation in PDM SolidWorks
  • Develop manufacturing methods and Process and Instrumentation diagrams – e.g. process diagrams, P and ID, assembly instructions
  • Develop the best-in-class technical documentation for developed products
  • Participate in meetings with a cross-functional product committee
  • Support the technical operation team during the production phase of a project
  • Operate technical support for the customer service team
  • Travel to customer sites for project installation, troubleshooting, or data gathering – approximately 10-15 days annually
  • Execute other incidental tasks

Candidate Profile for Mechanical Engineer

  • Must be fluent in Polish and English, both written and spoken
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum intermediate or higher skill level in CAD systems (Solid Works)
  • 2+ years of engineering experience
  • Experience in module sheet metal and weldments
  • Experience in the design of machines, complete systems and conveyor systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of engineering and design principles and methods of application
  • Knowledge of automation systems and electrical schematics will be a plus
  • Knowledge of the PDM system and practical use
  • Knowledge of 2D system (AutoCAD/DraftSight) and practical use
  • Knowledge of bills of material (BOM) and ERP systems required, expertise in Epicor is a plus
  • A team player with strong intrinsic motivation, professional curiosity and multitasking skills
  • Agility in action and quick adaptation to change
  • Proactivity and ability to work independently
