Description

Our client is a highly respected and extremely prestigious global leader in the integrated energy and chemical industry.

Currently, they are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic, multicultural organisation in The Hague. 

Job Profile for Financial Analyst
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Perform the End of Month Financial Closing processes and maintain documentation and analysis for audit and compliance purposes
  • Prepare the statutory financial statement of multiple entities and perform the consolidation as applicable in conformity with applicable standards
  • Manage the audit of multiple entities with external auditors and local managements of respective entities
  • Support periodic preparation of financial and management reporting to management and stakeholders at the parent
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other Finance teams in relation to End of Month Financial closing processes (i.e. Treasury, Debt Management, IPM, Operations, GRC)
  • Review detailed procedures and guidelines, these include conducting a review of company finance and accounting guidelines and office manual
  • Enforce procedure compliance throughout the company and coordinate internal and external audits on behalf of the Finance Unit
  • Advise the Finance Supervisor on complex finance issues
  • Assist with the coordination of Internal Audit
  • Maintain Internal Control documentation in the best order
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements in local jurisdictions

Candidate Profile for Financial Analyst

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
  • 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, advanced skills in Excel including power query
  • Good communication skills and good problem-solving skills
