Description

Our client, a highly respected and extremely prestigious global leader in the integrated energy and chemical industry, is looking for an HR Advisor to join their dynamic organisation in The Hague. 

In this role, you will be part of the Total Rewards team, which manages all aspects of Compensation, Benefits and HR Policies for our client offices in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, France, Italy and Malaysia. The primary focus of this role will be on compensation, including benchmarking, salary programs, fixed and variable pay design, in alignment with Corporate programs. You will also work together with other Total Rewards colleagues on Benefits and HR Policies.

Job Profile for HR Advisor
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Develop an annual salary program, including budget development and calculations
  • Develop and maintain variable pay programs
  • Conduct external total rewards benchmarking studies and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with Pay Transparency and other legislative requirements
  • Analyse and ensure the attractiveness and sustainability of Total Rewards programs
  • Analyse and maintain the internal equity
  • Develop and maintain attractive Benefits and HR Policies

Candidate Profile for HR Advisor

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • Certifications related to Total Rewards are preferable
  • Deep knowledge and experience in the area of Compensation benchmarking and design
  • Good knowledge and experience of Benefits, HR Policy management, and evaluation methodology
  • A good understanding of Total Rewards requirements and employment legislation in the Netherlands, UK and France is required: Italy and Malaysia are preferable
  • Experience in Total Rewards design with an employee life-cycle lens and multi-generation workforce
  • Understanding of labor costs calculations, budgeting and projections
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with relevant tools
  • Excellent consultancy skills towards management and employees
