Our client is a leading operator in the indoor leisure and entertainment sector, offering large-scale adventure parks designed to provide active and engaging experiences for visitors of all ages. With a strong presence in the market and a focus on high-quality service, the company combines energy, safety, and innovation across its range of activities—from trampoline arenas to obstacle courses and group events.
As the company continues to expand across the region, they are looking for an Operations Manager to join their team in Utrecht and become part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment for professionals who are passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences and contributing to the growth of a forward-thinking organisation.
Please note: This role offers flexible hours (32 hours part-time or 40 hours full-time weekly) and includes occasional weekend shifts.
Job Profile for Operations Manager
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead, guide, and develop Duty Managers
- Ensure optimal staffing levels, recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling
- Oversee daily operations, assist on the floor when needed, and proactively address bottlenecks
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction, resolve complaints, and enhance the overall guest experience
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal processes
- Report to the General Manager and contribute ideas for improvements and efficiency
Candidate Profile for Operations Manager
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- MBO+/HBO level of education or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role (preferably operational)
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude
- Stress-resistant, proactive, and highly organised
- Available to work at least one weekend day per week
- Affinity with leisure, hospitality, or food and beverage is a plus
