Our client is a fast-growing sports-tech SaaS scale-up transforming how racket sports venues manage bookings, payments, and player engagement across Europe.
As part of its expansion into the DACH market, the company is looking for a driven Account Executive to join its team in Frankfurt and support growth in one of Europe’s fastest-growing padel markets.
In the role, you will drive business growth across the DACH region by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and converting prospects into customers. Working closely with the Amsterdam team, you will play a key role in expanding the company’s regional presence.
Job Profile for Account Executive
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Research and identify new business opportunities across padel, tennis, and multi-sport venues within the DACH market
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings
- Qualify inbound leads and manage the sales pipeline through to conversion
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure sales activities are up to date
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer needs, challenges, and business objectives
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and communicate the value proposition effectively
- Visit sports clubs and venues across the DACH region to build relationships and support the sales process
- Prepare commercial proposals and support contract negotiations
- Manage the full sales cycle and independently close new business opportunities
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Gather customer and market insights to support product development, marketing initiatives, and sales strategy
- Identify market trends, customer challenges, and opportunities to strengthen the company’s position within the DACH market
Candidate Profile for Account Executive
- Must be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, sports management, or a related commercial role
- Strong passion for outbound sales, including cold calling, prospecting, and relationship building
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach and a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment
- Passion for sports, with an affinity for racket sports such as padel or tennis
- Existing network within the racket sports industry, or a strong interest in developing one
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the DACH region
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and productivity tools such as HubSpot, Google Workspace, Canva, and AI-powered sales tools
- Experience in B2B SaaS sales is advantageous
- Experience working with sports clubs, sports venues, or sports organisations is advantageous
- Understanding of subscription, transaction, or platform business models is advantageous
