Our client is an international engineering and building materials company specialising in industrial project development, construction materials, and integrated solutions for the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. Through a global network, the company provides engineering expertise, product distribution, sales support, and after-sales services, with a strong focus on building and decorative materials used in large-scale industrial and construction projects.
The company is expanding its local commercial presence in Serbia and is now looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to develop their strong sales and service network in the market. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to build partnerships, develop regional sales channels, and represent a well-established international group in the local market.
Job Profile for Regional Sales Manager
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Plan, develop, and manage the company’s sales and service network in Serbia
- Develop and onboard partners in the core region that meet the company’s standards
- Establish a high-quality and sustainable sales network to support sales growth, after-sales service, and customer experience objectives
- Build strong relationships with customers, partners, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders in the local market
- Conduct an in-depth analysis of the market landscape, customer needs, competitor activity, and existing sales network structures
- Develop a sales network blueprint aligned with market objectives, including city selection, regional coverage, and network density
- Screen, build, and proactively identify a database of potential customers and partners
- Leverage industry networks, trade shows, professional associations, and commercial data to identify high-quality partners through multiple channels
- Assess potential partners’ creditworthiness, financial health, operational capabilities, and market reputation
- Use strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills to support long-term commercial growth
Candidate Profile for Regional Sales Manager
- Must be fluent in Serbian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- At least 5 years of experience in the local market
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales network development, partner development, or B2B sales management
- Experience in building materials, decorative materials, construction materials, industrial solutions, or related sectors is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of the local manufacturing, construction, or industrial sector
- Excellent skills in business negotiation, financial analysis, and contract management
- Well-established network of contacts and industry resources in Serbia
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently or work on-site within the local market when required
