They are currently expanding and looking for a Laboratory Technician Trainee to join their team in Coevorden.

The Laboratory Technician plays a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of products and services to customers. Responsibilities include identifying and implementing service improvements, performing quality assurance testing, preparing detailed laboratory reports, and offering advanced technical support throughout operations.

Job Profile for Laboratory Technician Trainee
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Perform standard quality control testing of well stimulation or cementing fluids to verify fluid design
  • Rig-up of testing equipment in the laboratory and at the well site in accordance with company standards
  • Conduct pre-test and pre-job tasks as needed in preparation for providing analytical support to actual operations
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance and calibration of testing equipment in the laboratory
  • Maintain clean, organised, and safe laboratory conditions, ensuring that all waste materials are handled and disposed of in compliance with approved methods and safety standards
  • Help with the documentation and reporting of laboratory data
  • Follow and keep internal HSE and other company standards

Candidate Profile for Laboratory Technician Trainee

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Technician-level educational background
  • 0-3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Available to work on a standby or on-call schedule as required
  • Creative and capable of working independently
  • Able to work under pressure and demonstrate flexibility
