Financial Analyst – Dutch & English

Our client is one of the leading providers of logistics and supply chain solutions in the MENA region, with a global freight network of 600+ offices and solid logistics infrastructures backed by a team of committed and innovative experts in the field and supported by state-of-the-art IT systems and logistical infrastructure.

Currently, they are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their expanding team in Nieuw-Vennep.

Job Profile for Financial Analyst
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Dutch GAAP
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and operational support
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and job accounting functions
• Analyse billing and margins, ensuring profitability and cost control with the Operations team
• Monitor and follow up on customer payments, supplier transactions, and credit notes to ensure timely processing
• Prepare cash forecasts and manage liquidity to anticipate cash flow needs
• Work closely with the external consultant on financial matters and operational improvements
• Initiate payments in the bank portal, ensuring compliance with financial controls

Candidate Profile for Financial Analyst

• Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields
• Proven experience with financial reporting, analysis, and understanding of IFRS and Dutch GAAP
• Fluency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Proficiency in Exact software is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within the Operations and Finance teams
