Description
Our client is an international media and entertainment giant, offering streaming services to millions of members worldwide who enjoy TV series, documentaries, movies and an exciting gaming experience.
We are looking for a Title Merchandising Manager, to join their expanding team in Amsterdam.
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and strategically guiding title
promotions (series, movies, specials) in your region. You will have a deep understanding of the logic and behaviour of the interfaces, and how they interact with PDP deliverables (artwork, AV, writing, metadata, ratings, etc). You will use this knowledge and the playbooks delivered by functional title merchandising to ensure best-in-class presentations for a variety of title types.
Job Profile for Title Merchandising Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure launches align with established principles and guidelines for title merchandising, with heavier involvement in high-priority titles. Serve as a point of escalation and guidance for local PDP teams, and ensure title merchandising experiences reflect intended goals and company principles
- Master title merchandising dashboards and metrics, and serve as a point of escalation and expertise for title performance inquiries from partners (e.g. content, marcomms, CSA, policy)
- Maintain expert-level product knowledge, and support local PDP leadership by fielding product-related questions as a go-to resource
- Combine product promotional knowledge with local insights to identify divergences in member behaviour, and communicate these to the functional team with prioritisation and impact analysis
- Manage partner requests and collaboration efforts for title merchandising initiatives, and act as a liaison between the larger merchandising organisation and PDP/Partner teams to gather feedback and approvals
- Act as the regional expert in product promotion, metrics, and insights for titles. Analyse and communicate how assets, setup, and product behaviour influence end-visibility and overall content performance
- Share contextual feedback to improve the promotional story of a title for better resonance with local partners
- Use educational resources to enhance local product knowledge, and adapt global promotional insights for regional training and application
- Serve as the escalation point for PDP local leaders when partner (Content/Marcomms) questions about title experiences, promotions, or product behaviour require higher-level support
- Represent the product team in external scenarios such as creator meetings or industry presentations when needed
- Advocate for the regional context and needs to inform and shape global practices
- Provide perspective and context on partner suggestions and requests related to catalogue or title merchandising programs
