Currently, they are looking for a Financial Controller to join their expanding team in Lelystad.

Job Profile for Financial Controller
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Analyse and report issues related to monthly and periodic profit and loss statements as well as the balance sheet
• Focus on cash flow, working capital and cost of capital
• Perform project control exhibitions
• Support other financial and non-financial reporting requirements
• Initiate improvements concerning reporting and analysis
• Assist with general finance activities when required
• Act as a replacement when the Finance and Accounts (F&A) team members are absent
• Participate actively and provide inputs in F&A projects
• Collaborate with the Finance manager responsible for the annual report under Dutch GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and the J-Sox (Japan’s Financial Instruments and Exchange Law) package
• Provide financial input for the company’s budget cycle
• Support in VAT, CBS, corporate tax and other tax filings within the EU
• Travel regularly to the company branches and subsidiaries. Travel is a maximum of 10% of the total job time
• Create Power BI Reports
• Generate Financial statements analysis for potential dealers
• Attend relevant courses to stay current with accounting and related developments

Candidate Profile for Financial Controller

• Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• MBO or HBO working and thinking level
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• IT affinity for Excel, Power BI, RPA
• Accurate with numbers
• Discrete and confidential attitude and behaviour
