They are now seeking an experienced and dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Job Profile for Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Supervise and perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, HVAC, piping networks, valves, conveyors, boilers, and other plant machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults, identify root causes and implement effective repair solutions
- Coordinate with electrical and instrumentation teams for integrated maintenance activities
- Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, reports, and work orders using Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE regulations, local authority standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and upgrades of mechanical systems
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements where necessary
- Liaise with vendors for spare parts, service contracts, and warranty claims
- Conduct inspections and internal audits of mechanical systems for safety and reliability
Candidate Profile for Mechanical Engineer
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
- Experience in facilities, manufacturing, utilities, or construction sectors is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs
- Proficient using AutoCAD, maintenance planning tools, and MS Office
