They are now seeking an experienced and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. 

Job Profile for Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LV and MV electrical systems, control panels, motors, switchgear, and distribution boards
• Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot breakdowns, and implement effective solutions
• Supervise and coordinate with technicians and external contractors to execute maintenance tasks
• Monitor energy consumption and propose energy-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and quality procedures (DEWA/ADDC regulations)
• Prepare maintenance reports, daily logs, and asset condition assessments
• Support in the planning and execution of equipment upgrades and replacements
• Participate in shutdowns, testing, commissioning, and inspections as required
• Maintain and update all related technical documentation and service records
• Ensure all work is performed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner

Candidate Profile for Electrical Engineer

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Certifications in HV/MV operations, PLC systems, or energy management are advantageous
• 5–7 years of experience in electrical maintenance (preferably in industrial, commercial, or facilities management sectors)
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, generators, and UPS systems
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance software (CMMS) and diagnostics tools
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
