They are now looking for an experienced Construction Civil Superintendent to join their team in Rotterdam.

Job Profile for Construction Civil Superintendent
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Attend daily and weekly coordination meetings
• Serve as the primary contractor interface in the field, maintaining a deep understanding of civil and architectural construction works, technical issues, site labour, quality, and schedule
• Ensure all parties meet project safety requirements by promoting and supporting safe work practices
• Assist in the review and appraisal of method statements and risk assessments for technical content and safety considerations
• Carry out weekly HSE inspection audits
• Observe and monitor the interface of the construction activities for all disciplines, and assist the managing contractor in resolving any interface coordination issues
• Input into the coordination of the interface between Vendor Representatives and Contractor
• Assist managing contractor with monitoring the execution of the works, to ensure project quality requirements and standards are met, including monitoring of contractor Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s)
• Assist AP Construction Manager in developing detailed reporting of assessment of works and contractor performance
• Complete daily reports highlighting construction contractor progress, site labour and potential commercial impacts of ongoing works
• Assist in the review and appraisal of method statements and risk assessments for technical content and safety considerations

Candidate Profile for Construction Civil Superintendent

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, knowledge of Dutch would be an advantage
• 10+ years of experience in major capital projects working within EPC principal contractor execution teams
• Proven experience in underground pipe installation, GRE and HDPE
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
