Our client is a highly respected and extremely prestigious global leader in the integrated energy and chemical industry.
Currently, they are looking for an experienced Strategic Workforce Planning Advisor to join their dynamic, multicultural organisation in The Hague.
Job Profile for Strategic Workforce Planning Advisor
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Extract, clean, transform, and integrate large datasets from internal HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors), finance platforms, and external labour market sources to enable comprehensive analysis. Develop, automate, and maintain robust Power BI dashboards and reports to visualise workforce and financial data with high accuracy and user accessibility
- Utilise advanced Excel techniques including automation, macros, and complex formulas to complement data workflows
- Perform deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in workforce supply, demand, cost drivers, and financial performance
- Implement predictive analytics models to forecast workforce needs, turnover risks, skill gaps, and financial impacts
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise insights and recommendations tailored for both technical and business stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Workforce Planning teams to align workforce data analytics with budgeting, headcount, and cost management processes
- Support labour cost forecasting and scenario modelling by integrating workforce metrics with financial data
- Provide analytical support for workforce-related business cases, cost optimisation initiatives, and strategic planning
- Monitor key financial KPIs and workforce performance indicators to inform decision-making and highlight areas for improvement
- Act as a data analytics advisor to HR, finance, and business leaders, providing expert interpretation of workforce and financial data
- Partner with organisational design and HR strategy teams to ensure data-driven insights support organisational development and talent strategies
- Maintain data quality, governance, and security standards to ensure reliability and compliance
Candidate Profile for Strategic Workforce Planning Advisor
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business Intelligence, Economics, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics with a strong focus on workforce and financial data
- Expert proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design
- Advanced skills in data manipulation using Excel (automation, macros, pivot tables), SQL, or other data-querying languages
- Experience working with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred) and financial reporting tools
- Proven ability to develop predictive models and perform scenario analysis
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights
- Experience in workforce planning or HR analytics is highly desirable
