For our international client, a global leader in the IT/Software market, we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their expanding team in Delft. 

Job Profile for Technical Support Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Load/unload ESD very sensitive devices in cryogenic systems
• Run preliminary health checks on loaded devices
• Troubleshoot RF/DC measurement setups
• Perform basic routine tasks on cryogenic systems (e.g. topping up liquid N2 traps or providing support during maintenance operations)
• Write Python scripts for measurements
• Check laboratory inventory
• Assist with the shipment of goods
• Prepare documentation for hardware assembling instructions
• Perform quality control in the cleanroom

Candidate Profile for Technical Support Engineer

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics/Electrical Engineering
• Hands-on experience with measurement instruments such as (and/or): VNA, Spectrum analyzer, Lock-in amplifier, Cryogenic systems
• Experience working in a laboratory environment
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Familiar with CAD software such as Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor
• Familiar with FEM such as Comsol Multiphysics
• Good organisational skills
• Able to work on multiple projects in parallel
• A good team player
