Description
Our client is an international media and entertainment giant, offering streaming services to millions of members worldwide who enjoy TV series, documentaries, movies and an exciting gaming experience.
We are looking for an experienced Finance Procurement Operations Partner with strong communication skills and an understanding of the basic accounting implications of transactions to join their expanding team in Amsterdam.
The successful candidate has to be a proactive self-starter who can hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Profile for Finance Procurement Operations Partner
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage finance-related tasks, including supplier sourcing, contract review, purchase order creation, facilitatе change orders, and managе invoices
- Maintain supplier relationships and ensure effective supplier management
- Generate and review management reporting to ensure financial accuracy
- Facilitate a timely and accurate month-end close by managing the accrual process and explaining variance drivers
- Analyse trends in invoicing volume, work closely with the accounts payable team to reduce non-PO, manual, and non-OCR invoices
- Ensure accurate expense coding for meaningful reporting
- Track actuals against budget/forecast and communicate expected variances to key stakeholders
- Make UCAN calls, as well as balancе EMEA stakeholder meetings and FPO priorities
Candidate Profile for Finance Procurement Operations Partner
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferable, but not a must
- 5+ years of relevant Finance and/or Accounting experience
- Solid understanding of the S2P (source-to-pay) workflow
- Experience with purchase orders and invoices, P&L vs. Balance Sheet for proper coding
- Experience in supporting supplier sourcing projects and operational finance/accounting
- Systems experience with Workday Financials, Anaplan and/or Tableau is a plus
- Strong communication skills and proactivity
- Ability to analyse a large volume of requests and transactions with high accuracy
