We are looking for a Service Engineer to join their talented teams in the Netherlands. The purpose of the role is to deliver a first-class engineering service to multiple customers. It involves travelling in order to serve clients in other countries in Europe.
Job Profile for Service Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Attend client sites and resolve issues in a timely and neat manner
- Investigate faults and consistently provide high-standard solutions
- Deliver clear and informative end-user training to facilitate the smooth operation of the equipment
- Complete accurate job reports and explain the steps taken before a sign-off by the client
- Communicate and build relationships with clients and provide them with excellent service whilst representing the company
- Identify sales opportunities with existing clients and provide feedback to the Manager
- Be financially aware of company costs relating to Service
- Conduct and record site surveys to a high standard
- Log accurately all time and parts used against a job to be invoiced
- Maintain standards of technical excellence within the team
- Strive to build client trust in the engineer, and the company’s abilities
- Be personally responsible for identifying mistakes and learn from them to improve and develop skills
- Live the one-team culture value by communicating well with colleagues and working together to reach the end goal
- Demonstrate flexibility to business needs when required
- Follow health and safety compliance and company quality standards at all times
Candidate Profile for Service Engineer
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Business language skills in Dutch, Spanish or German will be considered an advantage
- Proven understanding or equivalent of ECS/CSCS, IPAF, PASMA and Avixa CTS
- Have a hard-working, enthusiastic and flexible work ethic
- Full valid driving licence
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work and travel away from home regularly, including inter-country travel
