Description

Our client is one of the leading providers of logistics and supply chain solutions in the MENA region, with a global freight network of 600+ offices and solid logistics infrastructures backed by a team of committed and innovative experts in the field and supported by state-of-the-art IT systems and logistical infrastructure.

Currently, they are looking for an experienced Export Operations Coordinator to join their expanding team in the Rozenburg, Amsterdam area.

Job Profile for Export Operations Coordinator
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Prepare and process export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws and customs regulations
  • Coordinate and monitor shipments with freight forwarders and transport companies
  • Manage bookings through Airline Portals
  • Plan transport for perishable cargo to be delivered on time to the GHA
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders on shipment updates
  • Track and resolve issues related to customs clearance or delivery delays
  • Handle the billing and invoicing to the customer
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and export activities
  • Assist in optimising export processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Create customs documents
  • Handle claims

Candidate Profile for Export Operations Coordinator

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus
  • Minimum high school education 
  • 2 years of experience in the freight industry in the Operations department
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to Prioritise and Organise
