Site/Warehouse Lead – Dutch & English

Our client is a global outsourcing provider of integrated supply chain services associated with maintenance, repair and overhaul activities in large manufacturing facilities. They partner with leading multinational organisations, providing expert on-site solutions and fostering strong relationships with both clients and suppliers through effective communication and exceptional service. 

Currently, they are looking for an experienced Site/Warehouse Lead to oversee operations in Haarlem, The Netherlands.

Job Profile for Site/Warehouse Lead
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Ensure the site is kept clean, well-organised, and efficiently managed (hands-on duties) 
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage of spare parts 
• Track incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring timely availability of required spare parts 
• Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records in the system 
• Support and manage the inventory and store team, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently 
• Monitor open orders, follow up on delayed items, and inform relevant teams of any issues 
• Ensure full Health & Safety compliance within the store and follow site safety procedures
• Liaise with Engineers and Maintenance Planners to ensure parts are available when needed 
• Attend weekly KPI meetings and update client reports as required
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and end-of-the-year reviews, reports and updates
• Ensure adherence to contractual commitments (e.g., cost savings, key performance indicators) at the local integrated supply site 
• Conduct staff KPI reviews 
• Occasionally handle one-off procurement requests for urgent spare parts, coordinating with suppliers as needed (10% of the role)

Candidate Profile for Site/Warehouse Lead

• Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Experience working in and leading a warehouse 
• Technical or Mechanical Background, understanding of machinery and spare parts
• Experience with ERP system 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
• Solid organisational skills and ability to multitask, work to deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner with a focus on building and strengthening the client relationship
• Flexible approach to all areas of the role with a strong focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
• Experience in the pharma industry is an advantage
